PIZZA BASE PASTRY
INGREDIENTS METHOD
175g / 6oz Barkat Mix
1 Egg (size 3)
50g / 2oz Hard lard / Margarine
Pinch Salt
1. Preheat oven Gas Mark 7, 220°C, 425°F
2. Place Barkat Mix and Salt into a mixing bowl.
3. Rub lard or margarine into the mix until mixture resembles fine
    breadcrumbs.
4. Add beaten egg and cut in with a knife until mixture comes
    together to form a dough.
5. Roll out dough to 1/16 inch thick and line an 8 inch greased pizza
    dish and top with filling of your choice.
6. Bake in oven for 12mins.
