Who is Richard?:
Richard Ward has been working in the Gluten Free Industry for over 40 Years, after his TWO children were diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, he pioneered the Gluten Free industry in the UK. First to create a DEDICATED Gluten Free Bakery in 1977, opening FIVE further factories in the UK and Europe. A founding member of the Coeliac Society in the UK and Northern Ireland in the early 1970’s, his company sponsored the FIRST Worldwide Coeliac Symposium in the UK in 1990. Launched the Original Juvela, Glutafin and Glutano brand BEFORE creating the BARKAT brand in 1994 all exclusively gluten and wheat free

Richard has dedicated his business in creating a better lifestyle for gluten free diets, creating recipes and products for all the family to enjoy!
Availability
Later the FIRST Company to Launch Gluten Free Foods in the UK Supermarkets. Today his company has over 50 products all exclusively gluten and wheat free and distributed in over 30 Countries worldwide.
